Example hits back at Internet hoax

Jingle Bell Ball star Example has hit back at Internet hoaxers publishing false Information about him on user-generated encyclopedia website Wikipedia.

Speaking on the BlackBerry Torch Challenge, the Kickstarts singer explained: "They've put on my Wikipedia page that I'm studying a Masters at Nottingham Uni, so people keep asking me about it. They're just massive w******..."

Despite the rapper denying the stories the page the page remains unedited.

The website itself has been the centre of many hoaxes over the last few years with the more serious of them being celebrity death claims.

Victims of Wikipedia hoaxes include Take That star Robbie Williams and U.S actress/singer Miley Cyrus .
