Ellie Goulding Unveils New Shaved Hair

The 'Your Song' singer has adopted a new shaved hairstyle ready for her return with a new album in 2012.

Ellie Goulding debuted a radical new hairstyle before performing at the Nobel Peace Prize concert in Norway on Sunday (11^th December).

The 'Starry Eyed' singer has become well known for her long flowing blonde locks but unveiled a punk-inspired style yesterday.

The new look sees Ellie's head shaved on one side with longer dyed pink hair on the other.

"Words can't describe how proud I am," Ellie tweeted after performing at the prestigious event. "Off to celebrate."

Ellie has spent the past few months touring with Katy Perry on her 'California Dreams' tour, after Jessie J was forced to pull out due to injury, and recently described herself as "blown away" by the scale of the tour.

The singer is expected to release the follow-up album to 2010 debut 'Lights' sometime in 2012.
