Ed Sheeran Mistaken For Prince Harry By The Royal Family

The 'Lego House' star was complimented for his resemblance to the Prince at a recent party.

Ed Sheeran has revealed how Princess Beatrice and Eugene almost confused the singer for Prince Harry at a recent party.

The 'You Need Me, I Don't Need You' singer told The Sun that had no idea who the Royals were at first, as they complimented his resemblance to their cousin.

"On the first night we had a massive party and I didn't really clock that they were royal and we had a very good time drinking," he confessed. "The next day one of the girls said, 'You know my cousin looks like you'.

He added: "I said a lot of people say they have ginger cousins that look like me. It turns out her cousin was Prince Harry."

The singer has also long been told he is a dead-ringer for Harry Potter actor Rupert Grint – and the pair appeared alongside one another for his 'Lego House' music video.

Last year, Ed also revealed how he wanted to get Prince Harry in the promo – but wasn't sure of the acting credentials of the Royal.

Meanwhile, the BRIT Award winning star is currently working on his new studio album and will be hitting the road with Taylor Swift across North America next year for her 'Red' world tour.
