The 'A Team' singer has told his fans to work hard and not focus on the negativity in their lives.

Ed Sheeran has posted a message of positivity to his followers on Twitter urging them to "do what they love".

The 20 year-old singer-songwriter has also thanked US rapper Yelawolf for collaborating with him on his new free EP 'The Slumdon Bridge'.

"If you wanna fill your life with hate and negativity, you might as well go and chew a toe while you're at it," Ed tweeted last night (25th January).

"Do what you love, work as hard as you can, and make people happy," he later added.

The 'Lego House' singer also thanked Yelawolf for working with him on 'The Slumdon Bridge', which is a four-track EP recorded recently in America.

"@Yelawolf pleasure working with you bro, see you soon," Ed posted.

Ed Sheeran unveiled the music video for his fourth single 'Drunk' earlier this week and has recently added several new tour dates to his forthcoming UK tour this Autumn.
