Ed Sheeran And Professor Green Nominated For Best Male At BRIT Awards 2012

'The Lego House' and 'Read All About It' rapper dominate the nominations for British Male Solo Artist.

Ed Sheeran and Professor Green are among the nominations for Best Male at this year's BRIT Awards in London.

James Blake, James Morrison and Noel Gallagher's High Flying Birds are also up for the British Male Solo Artist prize.

The BRIT Awards will take place at London's O2 Arena on 21st February with host James Corden.

Ed's nomination comes after a whirlwind 12 months that included the release of his debut album '+', while Professor Green released his second album 'At Your Inconvenience'.

Noel Gallagher's nod comes just three years since he quit his former band, Oasis.

Voting for all of the categories at this year's BRIT Awards has now opened, including the British Single award, which is voted for by listeners of Capital FM.

Each listener who casts a vote for British Single will be entered into a competition to win a pair of tickets to this year's ceremony.
