Drake And Justin Bieber Lead MuchMusic Video Awards 2013 Nominations

The 'Started From The Bottom' rapper has five nominations ahead of the June awards show.

Drake, Justin Bieber and One Direction are just some of the many big-name artists up for gongs at next month's MuchMusic Video Awards 2013.

The 'Take Care' rapper leads the charge with a total of five nominations across a number of different categories for his latest music video 'Started From The Bottom'.

Drake returned with the song earlier this year and has earned nods for Video Of The Year, Director Of The Year, Hip-Hop Video Of The Year, Your Fave Artist Or Group and Your Fave Video at the June awards show in Toronto, Canada.

Canadian native Justin Bieber is also up for awards in both the Your Fave Artist or Group category, and for International Video Of The Year by a Canadian for his hit 'As Long As You Love Me'.

British boy band One Direction also scored two nods, for both Your Fave International Artist or Group and earning a nomination for 'Kiss You' for International Video Of The Year by a Group.

Other artists to secure nominations for this year's MuchMusic Video Awards including Pink, PSY, Rihanna, Taylor Swift and Demi Lovato.

PSY is expected to perform at the event, as is Demi Lovato, which takes place live from Toronto on 16th June.
