David Guetta says he is tired of people trying to imitate his producing style.

David Guetta says his next music project will have a very different sound to his previous releases.

The 'Where Them Girls At' producer claims too many others in the music industry are trying to imitate his style so he has been forced to develop an entirely new sound.

"I'm always trying to do something different," Guetta told the Daily Star. "I've been making dance beats for a long time and a DJ since I was 14.

"So many people are doing the sound I make now so I'm trying to find the next thing."

The French producer, who turns 44 today, performed a medley with Jessie J, Taio Cruz and Ludacris at last night's MTV Europe Music Awards in Belfast.

Last month Guetta released new single 'Without You', featuring the vocals of Usher, and described working with the singer as being an "incredible" experience.
