The N-Dubz rapper has also revealed how he got legendary guitarist Brian May to feature on his new single.

"Brian bigged me up for my last single and said I should win an Ivor Novello for lyrics," Dappy explained to the Daily Star. "So I got his email and contacted him.

"He told me: 'You are a very different artist and unique, so carry on doing what you're doing. There's nobody else challenging you'.

After admitted that he is hoping for a second number one single with 'Rockstar', the N-Dubz rapper also revealed his plans for the rest of 2012.

He added: "Then I want to hit the arenas. This is different from N-Dubz. What I'm doing is more mature."

Dappy will release new single 'Rockstar' on 26th February while debut album 'No Regrets' will follow in May or June.
