Fans are eagerly downloading the new song following its release this morning.

Daft Punk's new single 'Get Lucky' featuring Pharrell Williams and Chic's Nile Rodgers has raced to number one on the iTunes chart.

The track, which was only released this morning, is the first single to be taken from Daft Punk's new album 'Random Access Memories'.

It's release follows weeks of speculation surrounding the French House pioneers' comeback, which has been shrouded in mystery.

Daft Punk began teasing their return when artwork for 'Random Access Memories' began appearing on billboards in America and the UK, before premiering a snippet of 'Get Lucky' on US TV.

The duo – real names Thomas Bangalter and Guy-Manuel de Homem-Christo – are set to release 'Random Access Memories' next month.
