The singer has been compared to Canadian teen sensation Justin Bieber after gaining huge popularity at a young age with his range of impressive cover versions on YouTube to help kickstart his music career.
The young star beat off the likes of Lana Del Rey and nine other acts to claim MTV's Brand New For 2012 prize this year and described it as being "an amazing feeling" to be given such acclaim.
The singer's official music video for his debut single 'Can't Say No' was shot in East London and directed by Rohan Blair-Mangat. The promo sees the young star recording in his home before hitting a night club with friends and dancing around with a group of girls.
Although his debut single has yet to be released Conor has already come up with a unique name for all of his fans after christening them the 'Maynaics' through his official Twitter account.
Conor recently flew out to Miami, Florida to meet up with The Nepturnes producer and singer Pharrell Williams to work on some new material together. The N.E.R.D. frontman had reportedly seen Conor's YouTube videos and been impressed by the young singer's potential.
The 'Can't Say No' singer-songwriter has built up a huge following on Twitter in only a short space of time, with almost 100,000 followers already (as of March 2012), and keep his fans up-to-date on all the goings on in his day-to-day life as well as teasing new music and potential collaborations.
