Coldplay Unveil New Song 'Atlas' From The Hunger Games: Catching Fire Soundtrack – Audio

The 'Charlie Brown' stars return with their latest single for the upcoming movie.

Coldplay have unveiled their new song 'Atlas' – which will feature on the soundtrack to the new movie The Hunger Games: Catching Fire.

The band had been teasing the single all week and posted a lyric video for the track yesterday (6^th September).

It's the first time Chris Martin and co have recorded an original song for a film and director Francis Lawrence was "thrilled" with how much the band got involved in the project.

"I have great respect and admiration for Coldplay, and we are thrilled with how well they have connected to the themes and ideas within the film," he said. "Their unwavering passion and excitement for the project elevated the collaboration even further, and we can't wait to share this music with audiences around the world."

'Atlas' will be released on Sunday (8^th September) with the new film hitting cinemas worldwide on 22^nd November.
