The 'Feel This Moment' singer is expected to sign for a huge seven-figure sum to return to the TV show.

Christina Aguilera and Cee Lo Green are both reportedly in negotiations to return to The Voice US next season to reprise their roles as coaches on the popular NBC talent show.

The two original vocal coaches left at the end of season three last winter to focus on their own respective solo projects, although both cited their intention to return after one series away from the show.

Although pop stars Usher and Shakira have replaced them on the show's fourth season, The Wrap reports that both acts are close to securing deals for a return in season five later this year.

"We're not there yet, but we're working on it," a source reportedly told the publication, regarding contact deals for the coaches' returns.

'Your Body' singer Christina, who took a season off to promote her 2012 album 'Lotus', is said to be looking at a potential salary deal of between £8.2 million and £11.1 million.

Fellow original vocal coaches Adam Levine and Blake Shelton are both expected to return again for another season of The Voice US.

Christina Aguilera was previously quoted saying the season away from the show will only make her a "stronger coach".

The Voice's current season is still airing on NBC in America.
