The 'Don't Wake Me Up' singer's new body art is said to have nothing to do with ex Rihanna.

Chris Brown's representative's have further denied claims that his recent neck tattoo depicts ex-girlfriend Rihanna.

Yesterday (11th September), new pictures emerged of the 'Beautiful People' singer's latest body art, which depicts the image of a woman with half skull face, leading to speculation amongst fans and the media that it was intended to show the 'We Found Love' star.

However, a spokesperson for Chris Brown has now allegedly denied the tattoo has anything to do with Rihanna, and claims it is in fact a representation of the Mexican holiday of the Day Of The Dead.

"His tattoo is a sugar skull, associated with the Mexican celebration of the Day of the Dead, and a MAC cosmetics design he saw," a representative for the singer told RumorFix. "It is not Rihanna or an abused woman as erroneously reported.

"It's a sugar skull based on the MAC design that Chris brought me," tattoo artist Peter Koskela added.

Despite their split several years ago both Rihanna and 'Sweet Love' singer Chris have become close again in recent years, with Rihanna recently admitting in an interview with Oprah Winfrey that they are now "very close friends" again.

During the MTV Video Music Awards 2012 last week, where both artists picked up awards, Rihanna was seen embracing and kissing Chris as he picked up the award of Best Male Video.

Rihanna recently announced plans to launch her 'Diamonds' world tour in early 2013 while Chris Brown is currently preparing to release a new single from his album 'Fortune'.
