The 'Turn Up The Music' singer is said to be pursuing a "healthier vantage" point for his life.

Chris Brown has voluntarily entered a rehabilitation facility following a legal dispute over the weekend.

The 'Fine China' singer's spokesperson confirmed that Chris is now in a rehab centre in the Los Angeles area and aims to "gain focus and insight into his past and recent behaviour" by staying there.

"Chris Brown has elected to enter a rehab facility," a spokesperson for the state revealed this week in a statement to E!. "His goal is to gain focus and insight into his past and recent behaviour, enabling him to continue the pursuit of his life and his career from a healthier vantage point."

The 'Turn Up The Music' singer had already hinted at a potential change earlier in the day on Tuesday (29th October) when he tweeted: "In order to go where u have never gone u have to be willing to go where u never been!!!!! #OHB! CBE!"

The US star was involved in a scuffle in Washington D.C. over the weekend that saw him and a bodyguard arrested after the incident, although his charge was reduced to a misdemeanour on Monday afternoon.

Chris Brown is set to release his new album 'X' on 19th November.
