Chris Brown Announces 'Fortune' Album Release Date

The 'Turn Up The Music' singer has confirmed his fifth album will launch in May.

Chris Brown has announced the official release date for his new album 'Fortune'.

The 'Beautiful People' singer will drop his fifth album at the start of May, following the release of lead single 'Turn Up The Music'.

"FORTUNE! May 8th!!!" Chris tweeted last night (29th February). "I hope this album shows growth and positivity to all my fans and will inspire them to live life to the fullest!!! #FORTUNE. 

"The reason for may 8th is so you (the fans) can have more music to make ur decision on if u want #FORTUNE." 

The singer performed both 'Turn Up The Music' and 'Beautiful People' at the Grammy Awards 2012 where he picked up Best R&B Album for 'F.A.M.E.'.

Last month Chris Brown and Rihanna uploaded featured on remixes of their tracks 'Turn Up The Music' and 'Birthday Cake'.

Chris Brown will now release 'Fortune' on 8th May.
