Cheryl's movie career could be set to hit the big time if this rumour is true! The Hangover star Zach Galifianakis has said he has heard rumblings that the 'Parachute' singer could be set to make a cameo appearance in the franchise's upcoming third outing. Galifianakis previously starred in the first two films in The Hangover series alongside Bradley Cooper and Ed Helms, and previous celebrity cameos have come courtesy of the likes of Mike Tyson and Carrot Top.
Team GB star Tom Daley gained himself an admiring fan in Cheryl Cole when she tweeted him several times during the London 2012 Olympic Games to wish the 18 year-old diver luck in his events. However, despite a regular interaction between the two on Twitter, including Tom promising to teach Cheryl how to swan dive, Cheryl confirmed Tom is far too young for her and the bronze medal winner admitted he would be far too embarrassed to ask the pop star out!
Despite repeated rumours of secret recording studio meetings there have yet to be any concrete details about a potential team-up between the princess of pop and our Cheryl... although Will.i.am is certainly keen to make it happen! The 'This Is Love' rapper has been pushing for the collaboration for years and is said to be wanting to get his "two favourite girls" to record together somehow!
Glee has seen numerous celebrity guest stars over the years including Britney Spears, Olivia Newton-John and Lindsay Lohan... but cast member Jane Lynch sparked rumours that 'Call My Name' star Cheryl may be next on the list. Cheryl is well known for her love of fashion but has yet to put her name to her own dedicated clothing line. Despite all the hype Cheryl was said to have confirmed soon after that she would not be joining The X Factor's rival talent show, and Nicki Minaj and Mariah Carey were later confirmed as the official replacements.
The wake of Cheryl's untimely departure from The X Factor USA sparked a myriad of rumours about her exit, not the least of which being that it had been in part due to her thick Geordie accent. However, earlier this year, in an interview with GQ, Cheryl put the long-running rumours to rest when she confirmed it had been nothing to do with her accent, insisting that she works perfectly well with Americans all the time.
One of the strangest rumours is that Cheryl has been invited to cameo on MTV's reality show Geordie Shore, about the lives of a group of hard-partying Newcastle youths. Despite claims the 'Under The Sun' star is a big fan of the series, which has been criticised in the past for its representation of the people of Newcastle, Cheryl has yet to make an appearance on the Shore!
Fresh from her exits from both The X Factor UK and the US edition of the show, Cheryl's name was quickly linked to BBC's new reality show The Voice UK, especially after her manager and friend Will.i.am was linked to the show's panel. A representative for Cheryl quickly rubbished the reports, and she has since said she has no desire to return to a full time judging panel role. Picture: BBC Pictures
After UK rapper MC Harvey claimed in an interview with Now magazine that he and Cheryl had embarked on a fling after her split from husband Ashley Cole, Cheryl hit out on Twitter by calling him up on making up "soul destroying lies" while thanking fans for believing her. The two had previously engaged in a war of words on Twitter over Harvey's tabloid claims.
Back at the start of 2012 it was widely rumoured that Simon Cowell had made up with Cheryl and was hoping to convince her to return to The X Factor UK as a possible replacement for Kelly Rowland, who eventually announced her decision not to return for a second series of the show. However, Cheryl didn't seem keen to make a return to the reality series, commenting that she felt done with the former, and Nicole Scherzinger was eventually confirmed as Kelly's replacement.
In early 2012 it was believed Cheryl had met up with Rihanna during her stay in Los Angeles to record a duet together, with reports suggesting the two had been keen to collaborate for some time. However, the heavily hyped team-up has yet to materialise, although Cheryl confirmed to Capital recently that she is still hopeful there will be time for her to record with Rihanna later this year.
Fresh from her exit from The X Factor USA, Cheryl was rumoured to be making a television return when reports claimed Channel 4 bosses were keen to launch a new late night TV chat show with the 'Call My Name' star as host. Cheryl has never commented on the rumours and no announcement has been made about Cheryl taking on the likes of Alan Carr and Graham Norton in the chat show arena anytime soon.
At the end of 2011 during Cheryl's stay in Los Angeles while starting the recording process for 'A Million Lights', it was reported that she had been hitting it off with music legend Diana Ross' son Evan. While rumours were rife during that week nothing has since been heard of Cheryl's rumoured romance with the 'Endless Love' singer's actor son.
Fresh from reports Cheryl was getting close with Diana Ross' son out in Los Angeles, it was then believed she had started dating her record producer Patrizio Pigliapoco during her stay in California. Patrizio quickly took to Twitter to deny the claims and insisted they simply had a professional relationship.
Cheryl and UK rapper Wretch 32 have openly talked about their good friendship and recently teamed up for her new single 'Screw You', leading to inevitable rumours that the pair had started dating. Despite the tabloid claims it appears Cheryl is actually now dating her back-up dancer Tre Holloway rather than the 'Unorthodox' star.
Ever since the later years of Girls Aloud and their announced hiatus in 2009 after releasing 'Out Of Control', it has been heavily rumoured that Cheryl and bandmate Nadine Coyle did not get on anymore, but recent signs indicate this isn't the case as the latter was pictured last week alongside the rest of Girls Aloud watching Cheryl on her solo arena tour.
Ever since will.i.am and Cheryl started to work together years ago there have been continuous waves of rumours that the pair's friendship is more than platonic. Both Cheryl and the 'This Is Love' rapper have continuously denied they are romantically involved, and recently revealed they now laugh about the tabloid reports that linked them together as a couple. One rumour in the early stages of developing about the UK's most famous Geordie is that she and good friend Will.i.am are being lined up by Simon Cowell and The X Factor producers to join the show's panel in 2013. The Mirror reports they are keen to poach Will.i.am from rival show The Voice UK and to convince Cheryl to return to the show in an effort to spice up the panel.
Cheryl's huge performance of 'Call My Name' on The Voice UK sparked a lot of buzz about everything from her outfit to her singing and, of course, THAT swan dive. However, rumours she had opted to mine the performance on a show so heavily focused on singing caused heavy criticism. Cheryl soon denied the accusations and joked that it was flattering for people to think that her live vocals sounded like that.
The rumour mill about Cheryl's romantic life has been in overdrive in 2012, which started off with claims she was "smitten" with singer Taio Cruz. The two have worked together in the past but neither artist has confirmed that anything went on between them and most of the comments about their supposed relationship came from other sources, suggesting they are simply good friends.
Cheryl has been open about her admiration for young royal Prince Harry, especially because of her close links to his father and the Prince's Trust. Ever since the 'Call My Name' star revealed she had had a dream where she and Harry got married, the rumour mill has been constantly linking the two together every time they are seen out at the same event.
After Tulisa Contostavlos was announced as the replacement for Cheryl Cole on The X Factor UK back in 2011, people immediately linked the two to a potential feud about the newest panelist taking Cheryl's old spot. However, Tulisa quickly denied these claims and says Cheryl got in touch with her straight away to clear the air.
Back in 2010 fresh from splitting with husband Ashley Cole, Cheryl was strangely linked romantically to US rapper 50 Cent. Although the rumours of a romance between Cheryl and the 'In Da Club' star came and went, Fiddy told the Daily Star earlier this summer that she is "hot" and he feels quite happy having that rumours go around.
Despite several rumours in the past that Simon Cowell and Cheryl might haven end romantically involved, Cheryl's Girls Aloud bandmate Kimberley Walsh insists they are "so far off the mark". The girl band star told OK magazine that she can "categorically say that is not the case", putting any rumours of a potential fling to bed.
During their time on The X Factor UK as fellow judges the fashion rivalry between Cheryl and Dannii Minogue was often highlighted, as well as speculation as to which judge was Simon Cowell's favourite that week. However Dannii has since denied there was any personal rift between the two, telling Star magazine that although they weren't particularly friends outside of work, they always look after each other on the show. So there!
In 2011 several publications hinted that the 'Under The Sun' singer may have undergone plastic surgery to augment her breasts, however Cheryl's spokesperson quickly denied the allegations and insisted she hadn't and has not intention of having a boob job now or in the future.
Before joining the judging panel on The X Factor USA, it was claimed Cheryl had embarked on a baby food diet. Sources told Now that the star had been eating pureed baby food before her daily workouts. "On the diet you eat baby food, such as apricot and sweet potato or asparagus, carrot and orange all puréed together, 14 times a day," it was claimed. Cheryl never commented on the claims.
