Cheryl Cole Takes Cher Lloyd's Place On Will.i.am Track

Cheryl Cole has re-recorded Cher's vocals.

Will.i.am pulled the track from Cher Lloyd's album after Cheryl Cole got ditched from the US X Factor.

But the Black Eyed Peas star has no intention of letting the song go to waste so asked Cheryl to claim the song as her own.

"Cheryl loved the song from the start," a source told M Is For Music.

"(She) didn’t think twice about recording a version after she was sure it would not be appearing on Cher’s album.

"There is no love lost between the two so she couldn’t care less what anyone has to say about her being offered the song.

"It’s a great track, so much so that it is being considered as the lead single from Cheryl’s third album."

Cheryl, who played Cher's mentor on The X Factor, has reportedly snubbed the 'Swagger Jagger' singer since the show finished.

"I've got more chance of winning the lottery than catching up with (Cheryl)," Cher recently said.

"I haven't spoken to Cheryl since the show. Maybe she's been busy."
