The 'Parachute' singer reveals Will.i.am was also left speechless after bumping into Sir Paul McCartney.

Cheryl Cole has revealed that she was left starstruck after meeting Prince William and Kate Middleton at the Diamond Jubilee Concert recently.

The '3 Words' singer told The Sun that she couldn't believe that she was spending time with the Royal family members.

"She's just so normal," the singer said of the Duchess of Cambridge. "They're Royals but they're not disconnected from us, they know what's going on in the world.

"They were just saying how happy they were with the performance and what a good night the Queen had.

"I was a bit starstruck though, a bit like, 'Wow, these are our Royals and I'm in Buckingham Palace having a drink'."

The singer was recently spotted with Prince Charles at a charity event together earlier this year and admitted she had huge admiration for his new daughter-in-law.

"Kate's doing really well. It must be tough being thrust into the limelight but she doesn't seem to flinch," she admitted. "She takes it in her stride. I love that she wears things twice. Welcome to the real world."

The Girls Aloud singer also revealed that she had a meeting with Kate's family at the event.

"Kate's mother came over to me at one point and said, 'You've got Middleton dimples.' Pippa was gorgeous too."

The star was also joined by her manager Will.i.am at the special show outside Buckingham Palace and revealed the Black Eyed Peas man was left starstruck when he met The Beatles star Sir Paul McCartney.

"Will was really cute at the Jubilee. British royalty is so iconic, it was like a fairytale to him," she said. "If that wasn't enough, he then met Paul McCartney. Will couldn't talk, he was so starstruck."

Cheryl was also back performing in London this weekend as she made a surprise appearance at Capital FM's Summertime Ball 2012 alongside the likes of Usher, Justin Bieber and Jessie J.

Meanwhile, the singer has today (13th June) unveiled a new song from her forthcoming album 'A Million Lights' - which is a collaboration with Wretch 32 called 'Screw You'.
