It was definitely a case of Girl Power on the Summertime Ball red carpet as the ladies dominated the fashion stakes.

It is shaping up to be a great night for the girls at the Capital Summertime Ball - we have some serious fashion envy after seeing some of the amazing outfits on the red carpet.

We're bringing you the outfits as they happen, as the stars grab their best garb for the waiting paps at the biggest music event in the UK. No pressure to get it just right then…

Leading Ladies:

Ellie Goulding

Ellie Goulding rocked a daring flesh coloured leather ensemble with extra short shorts - we hope she packed the tit-tape for the super low cut corset! She brightened up her look with zebra print shoes with yellow lacing.

Kiesza

Kiesza kept it casual on the red carpet in a silky bomber jacket, jeans and red trainers. She kept her hair glam with her signature sexy up do as she posed for the photographers.

Jessie J

Jessie J upped the style stakes with a geometric print two piece set - we loved her chunky white heels completing the look.

 Ella Henderson

Ella kept it simple in a monochrome top and trouser set, accented with a chunky statement necklace. Very elegant!

Cheryl Cole

Never one to put a foot wrong, our favourite Geordie lass looked UNREAL in a monochrome outfit, keeping her colour palette simple and accessorising with a chunky gold necklace and a super sleek hairdo.

Little Mix

The Little Mix ladies showcased their individual style as they strutted down the red carpet. Jade Thirlwall rocked an oversized check suit with her teeny waist on show, Perrie Edwards went for a vampy LBD, Leigh Anne Pinnock went for bright patterned trousers and a micro mini crop top and Jesy Nelson rocked a cutaway jumpsuit. These girls sure know how to dress to impress!

Iggy Azalea:

Iggy looked immaculate in a denim bodycon dress as she took to the red carpet with Nick Young, proving that simple can be sumptuous with a pared-back hair style and nude heels. Top marks from us.

Rita Ora:

Not many people could pull off a fishnet pair of cycling shorts and a crop top but Rita looks INCREDIBLE in this Moschino dream. Accessorised with plenty of gold chains and some cute heels, we're loving Rita's daring red carpet look.

Miley Cyrus:

Miley chose a PVC number (well, what did you expect?) to turn up on the red carpet. With a biker twist, she rocks her unusual dress with typical Miley flavour.
