Cheryl Cole: "No One Can Prepare You For Fame"

The 'Parachute' singer opens up on the pressures of her celebrity status during an in depth interview and cover shoot with Marie Claire magazine.

Cheryl Cole has confessed that she has sometimes struggled with the pressures and strains of fame during her musical career.

The '3 Words' star admitted that her relationship with her family enabled her to cope better because they were all taking the same journey together when she first broke into the music industry.

During a cover shoot and interview with Marie Claire magazine the Girls Aloud singer opened up on her feelings with coping on the trials and tribulations within the business and her status as a celebrity.

She said: "In the beginning you don't know the industry and I'd never had to handle the pressure that comes with fame. That's something that no-one can explain to you.

"Specially not from home because nobody's experienced it. Thank God we all got along because that would have been hell."

The singer also took time to speak of some of the singer's she has witnessed achieving success on music reality shows including recent X Factor winners Little Mix and her former protégée on the show Cher Lloyd.

The 'Fight For This Love' star said she can see a lot of herself in the acts and their excitement at this stage in their careers, and also took time to mention they are new to the business and there is still much to learn.

She added: "It makes me chuckle sometimes to see the new up and coming ones and I see myself in them back then. [Little Mix, Cher Lloyd]. It's cute."

"It's like you see they're really excited and they feel they're in the industry but really they haven't done anything yet. It's a learning process."

Meanwhile, the singer is currently preparing for the release of her comeback single 'Call My Name' and has been recently pictured on the set of her music video in Los Angeles.
