Paula Abdul has taken to Twitter to deny rumours she clashed with Cheryl Cole on the US version of The X Factor.
The star has set the record straight, saying the pair had a 'wonderful relationship' despite reports claiming one of the reasons Cheryl was dropped was because of their lack of on screen chemistry.
Another reason she was apparently axed was because of her Geordie accent.
'Cheryl is amazing, we have forged a wonderful friendship and have been and will continue to stay in touch,' Abdul wrote.
'I'm excited for everyone to see and hear what she is about to do next.'
Cheryl was replaced as a judge earlier this weekby Capital Summertime Ball star Nicole Scherzinger.
