The 'On My Way' singer-songwriter admits he only realised he was playing the stadium recently.
Charlie Brown has revealed he originally thought the Capital FM Summertime Ball 2013 was taking place at Wembley Arena and only found out it was at the stadium two weeks ago.
The 'On My Way' singer is set to perform alongside a bill of huge artists like Robbie Williams and Taylor Swift later today (9th June), but says he had no idea he would be playing the 80,000 seater stadium until he found out by chance.
"I didn't know you knew about that!" Charlie told Capital FM presenter Marvin Humes. "I found out I think about two weeks ago!
"Someone was like, 'Yeah you excited about Wembley?', and I was like, 'Yeah, Wembley Arena, it's going to be mad'.
"They were like, 'You do know it's the stadium right?'," Charlie recalled. "I was like, gulp, this is going to be fun.
"So that's a recent piece of information for me!," he added, before confirming he now has his nerves under control. "I'm just excited now!
The 'Floodgates' singer also names Justin Timberlake and Robbie Williams as some of the stars he is most looking forward to seeing at the Summertime Ball today.
"Justin Timberlake hosting is crazy so to meet him would be amazing," Charlie revealed. "Robbie Williams, I've never seen him live!"
