Carly Rae Jepsen Vows To Stick To Music Following 90210 Cameo – Audio

The 'Call Me Maybe' singer admits she forgot her lines during her appearance on the hit US show.

Carly Rae Jepsen has confessed that she doesn't expect to have a "bright" future in the movie business following her recent cameo in US show 90210.

The 'Good Time' singer told Capital FM that filming for the show didn't go completely according to plan as she forgot her lines and admitted she will be playing herself in the upcoming episode.

"Well, I basically play myself and I forgot one of my lines," she admitted. "I had two and I forgot one."

She continued: "I don't think my career is looking to bright in the movie business to be really honest with you  - I'm going to stick to music."

Executives of the show revealed that they fell in love with the star's smash hit 'Call My Maybe' when they first heard it leading to the cameo for their season five premiere. 

The Canadian star is expected to perform on the show as a headliner in Las Vegas alongside one of the show's characters.

The new series will air in the US on 8th October.

Meanwhile, Carly recently paid tribute to her mentor Justin Bieber and said that signing to his Schoolboy Records label "changed" her life.

She also made a surprise appearance at the Capital FM Summertime Ball back in June during the 'Boyfriend' star's set.

Also, Carly Rae Jepsen's new album 'The Kiss', which features a collaboration with Justin, will be released on 17th September.
