The 'It Will Rain' star says he loves performing in the country because British fans are "music lovers".

Bruno Mars has paid tribute to his fans in the UK and revealed that he loves touring in the country.

The 'It Will Rain' singer has just completed a nationwide jaunt, which included an appearance on The X Factor earlier this month.

"They're music lovers out here," Bruno said.

"They come to the show and they're like, 'We paid for this ticket, we wanna sing these songs, we want to have good time.'

"And that's what I love the most about coming out here and touring because you can feel that. It makes us have a blast on stage."

Bruno released his debut album ' Doo-Wops & Hooligans' last year. The album includes the singles 'Grenade', 'The Lazy Song' and 'Just The Way You Are'.
