The 'Locked Out Of Heaven' star is very excited about playing this year's Ball in London.

Bruno Mars has promised he and his band will be ready to "let loose" when they take to the stage at the O2 Arena this weekend for the Capital FM Jingle Bell Ball 2012.

The US star is set to perform as part of the Saturday line-up (8th December) of this year's Capital FM event, sharing a bill with the likes of Cheryl Cole, One Direction and JLS, and admits he is excited for one of his biggest shows in some time.

"We're excited," Bruno told Capital ahead of his performance this Saturday. "We haven't played a show like this in a while.

"We've been doing a lot of promotion and kind of just playing one song on TV, so we're going to let loose i think," he explained. "I think people are going to be in for a real treat."

The 'Locked Out Of Heaven' singer says he expects the O2 Arena audience to have "as much fun as we are" when they perform this weekend at the Ball.

He added: "Like I said we haven't played in so long [and] the guys in my band are so excited to just really let loose so get ready!"
