The Jingle Bell Ball star reveals that the Hollywood actress inspired his recent number one single.

Bruno Mars has joked that his new single 'Locked Out Of Heaven' is about Halle Berry.

The track is taken from the star's forthcoming album 'Unorthodox Jukebox', which is released next week.

Asked what the lyric "your sex takes me to paradise" was inspired by, Bruno told Capital FM: "I might as well just say it – Halle Berry."

'Locked Out Of Heaven' is the lead single from Bruno's new album and went to number one on the Vodafone Big Top 40 last month before returning to the top spot again this week.

Bruno Mars is among the artists set to perform on the opening night of this weekend's Capital FM Jingle Bell Ball, which takes place at the O2 Arena in London on the 8th and 9th December.
