The 'Just The Way You Are' singer's latest release has risen to the top of the Billboard chart.

Bruno Mars has scored his first ever number one album in America after his latest release climbed up the chart to the top spot.

The 'Locked Out Of Heaven' star's second studio album 'Unorthodox Jukebox' climbed up one place this week on the US Billboard Top 200 to give Bruno his first number one record, thanks in part to a sale this week on Amazon MP3.

The Hawaiian born star's follow-up to debut 'Doo-Wops & Hooligans' sold a total of 95,000 copies for the week ending 3rd March, a huge increase on his sales the week before.

Bruno's chart success follows the high chartings of the album's singles 'Locked Out Of Heaven' and 'When I Was Your Man', both of which have proved big commercial successes.

The 'Grenade' singer recently announced a new world tour called the 'Moonshine Jungle Tour', which arrives in the UK this Autumn.

Bruno Mars will begin the jaunt with a show at the Odyssey in Belfast on 2nd October, before playing shows across cities including Manchester, Glasgow, Dublin, Birmingham, Sheffield and London.
