Bruno Mars Thanks Fans Following People's Choice Awards 2012 Win

The 'Grenade' singer was named the Favourite Male Artist at the ceremony in Los Angeles last night.

Bruno Mars has thanked his fans after he was named Favourite Male Artist at the People's Choice Awards in Los Angeles last night (11^th January).

The singer beat the likes of teen sensation Justin Bieber and rapper Eminem and took to his Twitter account earlier today to acknowledge all those who voted for him.

"Im currently walking down the street screaming "I am an ultimate male"!! Thank you at @peopleschoice and to those that voted! #hooligans," he tweeted.

The big winner on the night was Katy Perry who picked up a total of five awards out of a possible seven at the Nokia Theatre ceremony.

Meanwhile, Bruno has been named as one of the performers who will take to the stage at the 54^th Annual Grammy Awards next month.
