Bruno Mars defends X Factor

Singer Bruno Mars has been defending music reality shows such as The X Factor claiming they connect people emotionally to the music industry.

The chart-topper told the Daily Star:

“X Factor and American Idol give you a show, variety, a back story. I grew up watching American Idol and worked with Alexandra Burke, so I know how the system goes.

“It plays a big part in the music industry.”
