Bruno Mars performed an emotional rendition of his hit song 'Count On Me' on the Ellen Show this week - in dedication of the victims of the recent Connecticut school shooting in Newtown.
The 'Grenade' singer was introduced on stage by chat show host Ellen DeGeneres after she spoke about needing to "get the love out there" following the tragedy in the US.
"I think we can all agree right now we need a lot of love out there," she announced, which draw huge applause from the audience before Bruno performed the heartfelt song.
The star was joined by one of his backing singers for the performance as he played a ukulele.
Bruno was among a host of stars from the music world who took to their Twitter accounts shortly after the news broke around the world that 27 people were killed during the incident, including 20 young children.
