The 'Parklife' band performed after being given the award for outstanding contribution to music.
Blur took to the stage at the BRIT Awards 2012 last night (21st February) for a medley performance to celebrate their award for Outstanding Contribution To Music.
The Britpop band gave the closing performance of the night when they led the crowd through a medley of some of their greatest hits.
Actor Ray Winstone presented the four-piece group with the prestigious gong, which is the band's fifth BRIT Award after winning a record-breaking four award back in 1995.
"Thank you very much .The last time we were here was 17 years ago and what happened that night seemed to have a really profound effect on our lives so it's very nice to come back and say thank you very much for this honour," frontman Damon Albarn told the O2 Arena audience while accepting the award.
After Adele accepted her Best British Album as the final award of the night Blur arrived on stage to close out the BRITs 2012 with a crowd-pleasing performance.
Damon Albarn, Graham Coxon, Alex James and Dave Rowntree kicked off their set with 'Girls and Boys' and went on to perform hits 'Song 2' and 'Parklife' before rounding off with 'Tender' and 'This Is A Low'.
