Don't Be So Hard On Yourself Jess Glynne
Dancing stereos? Dazzling lights? Lazers? Huge hits? It could only be Black Eyed Peas and an amazing closing set.
Black Eyed Peas brought the first night of the Jingle Bell Ball to a suitably massive end as they rattled through some of their biggest hits at the O2 Arena.
Will.i.am took the time to thank the sold-out Jingle Bell Ball crowd for their support. Turns out the Peas are the only fans of the cold weather we’ve been having.
“This is the first time we’ve had winter in London”, said Will. “We’re from Los Angeles where we don’t get much cold weather. To be here, right before Christmas, and it looks really Christmassy and beautiful? It feels really good to be here”.
Among the songs in the set were ‘The Time’, ‘Where Is The Love’, “Meet Me Halfway’ and an absolutely enormous ‘I Gotta Feeling’. Justified headliners of the Jingle Bell Ball’s first day? Absolutely.
