The 'Countdown' singer's soundtrack song to new Blue Sky Studios film Epic is set to be released at the end of May.

Beyonce is set to unveiled a brand new song called 'Rise Up' later this month as part of the soundtrack to upcoming animation Epic.

The 'Love On Top' singer has just wrapped the UK leg of her 'The Mrs. Carter Show' world tour, and is set to premiere the soundtrack song to the Blue Sky Studios animation at the end of May to tie in with the film's release.

Beyonce reportedly co-write 'Rise Up' with 'Wild Ones' singer-songwriter Sia, while the song was producer by both Hit-Boy and Chase N. Chase, the former of whom also worked with the US star on her new song 'Bow Down'.

'Countdown' singer Beyonce also lends her voice to new film Epic as a character called Queen Tara, and recently revealed she was "in tears" voicing some of the film's more emotional scenes.
