The US Presidents wife has highlighted the 'Countdown' star as someone she looks up to.

US President Barack Obama's wife Michelle has confessed that if she had some "gift" then she would want to be a musician and highlighted Beyonce as her perfect choice of star.

The First Lady told People magazine that she has much admiration for musicians and thinks being the 'Crazy In Love' star would be a fantastic experience.

"If I had some gift, I'd be Beyonce. I'd be some great singer. The power of music, being able to play an instrument… It looks like musicians just have the most fun," she revealed.

Earlier this year, the Destiny's Child star penned a letter to Michelle calling her the "ultimate" female role model.

This triggered equal admiration from the President's wife as she thanked the star for her public post on her website.

Meanwhile, the 'Love On Top' singer is preparing to make her live return after giving birth to daughter Blue Ivy earlier this year and will play a trio of shows starting this evening (25th May) in Atlantic City for US Memorial Weekend.
