Beyonce Fails To Show Up For Father Mathew Knowles' Wedding

The 'Countdown' singer and her sister did not attend the wedding to welcome their new step-mother.
Beyonce and her sister Solange both reportedly failed to attend their father's wedding last weekend.
The 'Love On Top' singer and her fellow pop star sibling were both absent from their father Mathew Knowles' wedding to real estate agent Gena Avery in Houston, Texas last Sunday (30th June).
The former manager of Beyonce, Mathew has been engaged for the past year and a half after divorcing the mother of his two children, Tina Knowles, back in 2011.
"Unfortunately, Beyonce and Solange had previous engagements which made it impossible for them to attend," TMZ quotes Mathew as telling them, after the ceremony took place.
Beyonce has had a hectic past week as she continues to help husband Jay-Z promote his new album 'Magna Carta Holy Grail', which features her guest vocals on the songs 'Part II (On The Run)' and 'BBC'.

The album leaked online ahead of it's release this week, after being featured exclusively on a Samsung app for its first week on sale.
Beyonce is also expected to return with her fifth studio album later this year.
