Beyonce has returned to the stage for the first time since the birth of her daughter Blue Ivy Carter in January.
The singer delighted fans with a career-spanning performance at Ovation Hall in Atlantic City, New Jersey – the first of three shows at the venue.
Bey, who has kept a low profile since her and husband Jay-Z welcomed their first child, kicked off her comeback gig with the recent hit, 'End Of Time'.
She then launched into 'Love On Top', before playing the likes of 'Crazy In Love', 'Party' and 'Run The World (Girls)' during the near two-hour gig. The singer also paid tribute to the late Whitney Houston and Donna Summer.
Bey's comeback was praised by fans in attendance, including the star's husband Jay-Z who made a rare appearance on Twitter to praise his wife's performance.
"I'm gonna say this and then I'm gonna end mine. BEYONCE is the best performer in the world. Period," he wrote.

Bey switched outfits throughout the concert and was joined by an all-female band and backing dancers.
Speaking ahead of her performance the singer admitted that it felt "a little strange" to be returning to the stage after such a long break and said she was "enjoying being a mother".
