The 'Countdown' singer has been linked to a slot on the line-up for this year's awards ceremony.

Beyonce is reportedly set to return to the UK next month for a huge performance at the BRIT Awards 2013.

The 'Love On Top' singer has been linked to a performance slot at this year's event at London's O2 Arena, fresh from her upcoming Super Bowl 2013 halftime show at the start of February.

"Beyonce coming to The Brits is a huge coup for organisers," a source told The Sun this week. "She's among the best live pop acts on the planet and will have brand new material to play for the audience.

"The last time she played The Brits, nine years ago, was at the start of her solo career singing 'Crazy In Love'," they added. 'So it's apt that she's back this year."

If confirmed, Beyonce will join the likes of One Direction, Robbie Williams, Emeli Sande and Muse on the line-up for this year's BRITs, where she is also up for Best International Female Artist.

Both the BRIT Awards and Beyonce have yet to make any official comment surrounding rumours of her involvement with the show.

Beyonce is currently preparing to announce details of her fifth studio album in the coming weeks, after already confirming the involvement of stars including Justin Timberlake, Pharrell Williams and Timbaland.

The 'Countdown' singer has also reunited with her Destiny's Child bandmates to release a new compilation album called 'Love Songs', which features a brand new song from the trio called 'Nuclear'.

The BRIT Awards 2013 is set to take place at the O2 Arena on 20th February.
