The 'Party' singer has revealed that daughter Blue Ivy doesn't understand that she is a pop singer.

Beyonce has revealed that her and Jay-Z's daughter Blue Ivy watch her perform on stage for the first time recently and was very "confused" by the whole thing.

The 'Love On Top' singer has opened up about becoming a mother to US chatshow host Anderson Cooper for the season premiere of his new series Anderson Live this week, and will be seen talking candidly about her and her rapper husband Jay-Z's approach to parenthood.

"Actually [Jay-Z] is very good. We both [change nappies]," Beyonce reveals to the host, reports the Daily Mail. "I love changing diapers. I love it. I love every moment of it, it's so beautiful."

Beyonce went on to reveal that during her rehearsals for her performance at the U.N General Assembly last month, as part of World Humanitarian Day last month, Blue Ivy got to see her mother performing live for the first ever time.

"I'm mummy, and when she sees me, today was the first time she saw me perform in rehearsals," Beyonce explained. "She was very confused!"

The 'Countdown' star also admitted she loves to make up "crazy, corny songs" to sing to baby Blue, who was born at the start of 2012.

Last week Beyonce celebrated her birthday by taking a private yacht with Jay-Z and Blue Ivy across the Mediterranean for a family cruise, which saw them stopping off in Antibes in the south of France for a romantic dinner date.

Beyonce's interview on Anderson Live is set to air tonight (11th September) on FOX.
