Beyonce is reportedly the "dream" choice to take one of the vacant judging positions on American Idol.
The music reality series said farewell to Aerosmith front man Steven Tyler and Jennifer Lopez last week after both stars announced their departure – leading to a number of big named stars being linked to a role with the show.
Executives at FOX are apparently keen on getting the Destiny's Child star on board, according to Hollywood Life, who also report that Lady Gaga, Kanye West, Pink and Mariah Carey are also being considered.
The publication reports that they show's executives want to find "younger, more relevant, and established talent at their judge's table" for the next series.
It is also said that the show wants to make a big "splash" to rival the anticipation of the upcoming season of The X Factor USA and bring a "huge name" on board.

Former contestant Adam Lambert was one of the first names reportedly considered for a role – something which the singer told Capital was simply a "beautiful rumour" but a position he would "jump at the chance" to take.
Nicki Minaj, Will.i.am and Aretha Franklin have also been linked with a role on the show.
