The 'Hey Brother' star says he is heading in to work on his second studio album very soon.

Avicii has revealed to fans that he is now hard at work on music for his brand new album.

The 'Addicted To You' DJ and producer, who launched his debut 'True' last year, confirmed this week that he is now preparing to head back into the recording studio to work on his second solo album.

"Relaxing in Laguna Beach for a couple of days before going back to work on second album!" Avicii tweeted over the weekend. "Can't wait for people to see what's in store."

The Swedish DJ was hospitalised back in March this year after having surgery on his gallbladder and appendix, and tweeted fans to say he was on the road of recovery.

Avicii's debut album 'True' arrived in September last year and spawned a string of successful hit singles including songs like 'Wake Me Up', 'You Make Me' and 'Hey Brother'.
