The countdown has begun to Capital’s Jingle Bell Ball.
Alexandra Burke told us that she can’t wait to perform back at the O2 on Saturday and is especially excited about meeting Cee Lo Green.
Alexandra has confessed to us that she would love to sing with the "Forget You" star. She told us "I can hear our vocals working well. I can so hear that. I love “Crazy” and my message to Cee Lo is you need to know that I wanna work with you. I'm a huge fan. Capital, introduce me please! ..but you know, Jingle Bell Ball is always special for me and I cannot wait for the show."
Alexandra is currently promoting her new single The Silence, which is taken from the Deluxe Edition of Overcome, which gets released on December 6th.
But she's also working on two other exciting projects; her 2011 UK Tour and a new clothing range.
Alexandra exclusively told us “the clothing range is out next year and at the minute the focus is on the Help a Capital Child T-shirt I’ve designed with JLS through 2KX clothing. I really hope everyone supports that." So how would Alexandra describe her style? "I like to set the trend not follow it and I’m all about clothing that makes you feel good. This Winter it’s all about fake and I stress fake fur, it keeps you warm and it doesn’t have to be real to be warm."
And as for the debut UK tour, which starts January 16th, Alex told us everything is come together nicely. "I’ve just got the setlist down, which has been causing me sleepless nights but in a good way but I’m happy with it all. I've just appointed dancers and I’ve been designing all the clothes alongside another designer. It’s so sexy, it’s unreal. Not revealing, but sexy and sophisticated. Trust me, it’s all amazing."
Alexandra also confessed to us that new single The Silence is an emotional song to perform live. “It’s one of the songs on the album that really has a deeper meaning. The song speaks for itself but it’s quite scary. I actually can’t listen to the song, so I will probably get very emotional performing this song on stage. I’m probably going to be crying at every single show."
We can’t wait for Saturday now!
