The Hollywood star admits he "regrets" the confrontation where the pair spoke about fame.
Robert Pattinson has revealed that he once got into an argument with Grammy Award winning star Adele over the level of her fame.
The actor, and star of the Twilight series of movies, told Movieline that the confrontation occurred after he told the 'Someone Like You' star she could one day achieve great success.
"I had this argument with Adele, which is probably the most ridiculous thing I've ever said," he admitted. "I was saying, 'you know, you can really just like reach for it', and she was like, 'you do realize I am like the biggest selling female artist ever?' And I just for some reason just decided to get into an argument with her."
The actor confessed that he woke up the next day "regretting" what he had said to the multi-million selling artist.
He added: "Yeah, and then waking up and kind of really, really regretting every word I said."
Robert's Twilight co-star Kristen Stewart also recently revealed that she prepared for her latest movie role in the fairytale blockbuster Snow White And The Huntsman by listening to tracks from Adele.
