The 'Rolling In The Deep' star is said to be making huge improvements on her Sussex pad in anticipation of her first child.

Adele is reportedly set to spend over £500,000 plans on renovating her Sussex mansion ahead of her baby's arrival.

The 'Someone Like You' star announced the news to the world that she and boyfriend Simon Konecki were expecting their first child on Friday (29th June) and the singer is already preparing for the arrival.

"Adele is delighted she's finally got the planning permission through," a source told The Sun newspaper. "It couldn't have come at a better time."

The BRIT and Grammy Award winning star was rumoured to have splashed around two million pounds on the home earlier this month and immediately looked to make improvements on the place.

"She went through the usual tedious months of waiting for the council to grant her permission to change the house. Now it's going to be a real dream home for her and her new family," added the source.
