Adele And Kanye West Lead Grammy Nominations 2012

The 'Someone Like You' singer scored six nominations at last night's ceremony while 'All Of The Lights' rapper Kanye picked up seven in total.

Adele and Kanye West walked away as the big winners at last night's (30th November) Grammy Nominations ceremony in Los Angeles.

The 'Set Fire To The Rain' singer was nominated for Record of the Year, Song of the Year and Best Short Form Music Video for 'Rolling In The Deep', Album of the Year and Best Pop Vocal Album for '21' and Best Solo Performance for 'Someone Like You'.

Kanye West scored the most nominations of the night with seven nods in total, scoring four as a solo artist for his single 'All Of The Lights' and recent album 'My Dark Twisted Fantasy', and three nominations for his Jay-Z collaboration 'Watch The Throne'.

'Marry Me' singer Bruno Mars also had a successful evening with his debut album 'Doo-Wops & Hooligans' nominated for Album of the Year and Best Pop Vocal Album and popular single 'Grenade' nominated for Record of the Year, Song of the Year and Best Pop Solo Performance.

Elsewhere, Rihanna picked up five Grammy nods, with two nominations for fifth album 'Loud' as well, and one for Drake duet 'What's My Name?' and two for her contribution to Kanye's 'All Of The Lights'.

The ceremony was both opened and closed with a performance from Lady Gaga, who herself was nominated in for Album of the Year, Best Pop Solo Performance and Best Pop Vocal Album.

The 54th Grammy Awards ceremony is due to be held in Los Angeles on 12th February, 2012.
