Sources reveal the star is planning a different performance from her seminal 'Someone Like You' set.
Adele's performance at the BRIT Awards in London tonight (21st February) will be "a lot louder" than last year, it's been reported.
The singer's acoustic rendition of 'Someone Like You' captivated the audience in 2011, and boosted sales of Adele's second album '21'.
The ceremony tonight will mark only Adele's second performance since undergoing throat surgery, and sources have revealed it will differ from last year.
"After last year's seminal performance, Adele thought it would be a bit foolish to try the same thing again," a source told the Evening Standard.
"It will be a lot louder this time."
Adele is nominated for three awards at this year's ceremony, including Best Female.
Other performers at the ceremony include Rihanna, Coldplay, Ed Sheeran and Bruno Mars.
