The 'Back To Black' producer says he can not "tolerate" the interview and will not speak about the late singer again.

Mark Ronson has said he was misquoted in an interview where he apparently said Amy Winehouse was "freaked out" by Adele's success.

The interview, which was published on the Village Voice website, suggested the late singer was also "upset" and "restless" by her fellow London star's dominance following the release of '21'.

Responding to the interview on his Facebook page, a clearly angry Mark said he could not "tolerate" being misquoted.

The producer, who was behind Amy's second album 'Back To Black', also said he would no longer answer questions about the late singer.

"Some journalist quoted me as saying Amy was 'freaked out' by Adele's success. Jesus Christ," he wrote.

"I read the interview for the first time just now, and there are so many wrong quotes in there. I can tell the dude was writing whatever he wanted because he uses words and language that I never EVER f**king use in my daily life."

He continued: "At one point, he was grilling me about Amy to the point that I said that Amy was itching to get back in the studio, and the recent success of others that she had blazed a trail for had put the fire in her belly.

"But that is absolutely it and all these other words are a complete affront to me, her, Adele and anyone who reads this sh**e."

Mark added: "Sorry to get so f**king angry over something that may seem trivial but some wrongs must be righted.

"And I have learned my lesson and will no longer answer questions about our girl."

Adele has since gone on to have one of the greatest selling albums of all time with her second record '21' and has won an array of Grammy and BRIT Awards in 2012.

Meanwhile, an Amy Winehouse Foundation has been set up in honour of the late star which earlier this year auctioned off the dress the star wore on the cover of her 'Back To Black' album.
